Eid Mubarak and Happy Diwali

WHAT IS IT LIKE BEING ME!!!!!!!!!!!

An Iftaar and Eid with Muslims and non-Muslims. A Sabbath dinner with Jews and non-Jews. Sharing Diwali and Dussehra sweets with Hindus and non-Hindus.
The commonality?
Food obviously, but it is not the only one.
People of different faiths are also sharing common values. Love, respect, justice and peace are but a few of these shared values. Never has the world looked more like a global village than it is today and never has the need been so great for creating better understanding and respect between followers of different religions. Our survival depends on it.

As the late renowned Palestinian American Professor Edward Said wrote:

"No culture or civilisation exists by itself; none is made up of things like individuality and enlightenment that are completely exclusive to it; and none exists without the basic human attributes of community, love, value for life and all the others."

Life is Beautiful with faith by my side and the love and wishes of all my loved ones I enjoyed a wonderful time of my life and have heaps to thank Allah for!!!!!

Review on Eid

What a Day, What a weekend, OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Such and magnificent, attractive, beautiful, auspicious day with hearts skipping a beat throughout.
The feeling was great, the moods at its best and the atmosphere FESTIVE.
 
After a monthful of fasting, praying and doing all the things prescribed for this glorious month we had every reason
to feel what we were feeling, we celebrated Eid with lot of pleasure and pomp, new dresses, henna, sheer khorma,
tasty food and all the friends we could accommodate in our hearts
 
MAY WE NOT FORGET TO THANK ALLAH FOR ALL HIS GLORY.
