Its been an year since we left New Zealand, home and friends...
Friends I am back, came back on 9th of May, Mum is slowly recovering, thanks a lot for all the mails, txts, phone calls, thoughts and above all, all the prayers that came our way.........
You can never go home again, but the truth is you can never leave home, so it's all right. ~Maya Angelou
28th of April marked one year since we left our home and friends in Auckland, my heart still pinches at the mere thought of that moment, migration when it is done for better and selfless reason is encouraged and supported by the Almighty, it so happened with us too, I dont get very emotionally attached to places but guess its the people and the memories that forms that attachment and pain, well what is life without pain, we will not realise the importance of relations until it pains like the famous lines go...love you so much, it hurts......
Pichle baras tha khouf tujhe kho na doon kaheen,
Ab ke baras yeh dua hai tera saamna na ho....
Few passions have governed my life:
To Love and the longing for love, being good in Almighty's eyes, serving parents, the search for knowledge,
And unbearable pity for the suffering of humankind and I want to embrace every opportunity given to me to make a difference, even if it is equal to a drop in the ocean, but I wanna play my part.....
Few wise words worth pondering:
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
If you wait to do everything until you're sure it's right, you'll probably never do much of anything.”
The difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson.”
“One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.”
And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

A very well deserved congrats to you sadiya, hats off toyou for being able to dare to dream and implement it I agree as you said that migration for selfless motive is encouraged by Allah and you get everything you asked for and more, I am glad your decision payed off in such a short time, how else you would have handled your mums situation if in new zealand.
Allah is a great planner and a wisest friend of all.
