FRIENDS MY LIFE'S FIRST HYDERABADI NAWABI LAIDBACK ATTITUDE CASUALTY.....

After checking in the luggage, nicely sitting sipping Miranda with Naushad, Henna, Suboor and Murtuza, while kids continuously cajoling me to make a move for boarding, whining "we will miss the flight" and yeah miss we did, by the time we went to the gates, the gates were closed, luggage off boarded as per emirates new policy that they will not allow anyone before 15minutes of taking off...............................

For those of you who dont know me more closely, I have always been a laidback latelateef, always last to arrive at a party, last one to arrive in the flight....miracle that I never missed an interview or an important meeting or event in my life, funny that this is my life's first casualty, well I must thank god and starting working on it NOW

AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......................

Luckily got the tickets for 1st of July, so I promise to go and sit in front of the gate an hour before hahaha

My sister is happy that we will get to watch IIFA Awards together which is being relayed tonite, Naushad and my nephews are happy we will get to watch the football final Euro 2008 between Spain and Germany late tonite.

Well, maybe Allah has some good for me in this.....whatever Allah does is good for us.....so not complaining, just wishing hoping and praying for best for me, you and everyone...

Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive anyway.

Until then be with me, remember me in your prayers and be good........

Last post was....

Main chali main chali, peeche peeche jahan, yeh toh poocho kidhar, poocho poocho kahan.....
India yaar aur kahan….

Flying off to India for summer vacation with kids for couple of months, Naushad will join us sometime for sometime, hoping to avoid summer here and enjoy the rainy season in India, one more opportunity to see my parents and have a blast shopping, parties and weddings…..
Above all, before all, most of all to see my parents and be with them……

Some wise words before I leave.....

Some of the traditions of Prophet Muhammad, and of the learned members, about our responsibilities toward our parents are quoted here:

"Paradise lies under the feet of the mother."

"God's pleasure is in the pleasure of the father, and God's displeasure is in the displeasure of the father."

"He who wishes to enter Paradise through its best door must please his parents."

"It is a pity that some people may not attain Paradise, on account of not serving their old parents."

"If a person looks with love at his parents, God writes in his favor the reward equal to the performance of one Hajj."

the great-great-grandson of the Prophet Muhammad is reported to have quoted that, "disobedience to parents is a major sin." He also stated that, "if a person looks at the face of his or her parents with wrathful eyes, despite the fact that injustice was done to him or her by the parents, his or her (prayer) will not be accepted by God."

"God has commanded that if anybody prays equal to the invocations performed by the prophets, such prayers will do no good if that person has been cursed by his or her parents."

It has also been related that the very first words which have been written on the Lauh-e-Mahfuz (The Heavenly Preserved Tablet) are:

"I am God, and there is no deity except Me. I am pleased with those with whom their parents are pleased, and I am displeased with those with whom their parents are displeased."

Let us pray to God that He guide us to be respectful, kind, and obedient to our parents, and that we continue to show them humility regardless of the power, position, wealth, and influence we may possess. Let us also pray that we be patient, kind, thoughtful, and friendly with our children, as we guide them through their lives, and that we discharge our responsibilities towards them as required, so that God may be pleased with us, and may He Bless and reward us, both in this world and in the Hereafter; Ameen.

Ski Dubai Snow Park
The world’s largest Snow Park is nowhere else but at Ski Dubai. Lying on 3000 square meters of snow, the park is a one of a kind attraction that leaves you breathless.

At the Snow Park you won’t meet boredom; go crazy in the tobogganing hills, or in a twin track bobsled ride. Also, a snowball throwing gallery and a snow cavern filled with interactive experiences and amazing sights and sounds await you for an unforgettable journey. A large observation tower offers a perfect view of the Ski Dubai main slope. Parents can engage in recreation with their children while building a snowman and playing on the hills.

To complete this magical setting, regular snowfalls will surprise you and will add more excitement to this fun-filled snow experience.

All in all we had a verry good time with family, my sister's family, henna, nimmo and all.....getaways, family dinners, shopping and all....

We all have heard about the expressions, Paani mein Aag, Jungle mein Mangal, Sahra mein Phool, Pahadon mein Nahar and now add to the list Sahra mein Burf - Amazing it is...

Khuda bhi aasman se jab zameen par dekhta hoga,
Mere bandon ka aage aage kya hoga sochta hoga.....

HAPPY FATHERS DAY.....

FATHERS ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE.....

FATHERS ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE.....
Fathers hold you when you have bad dreams
And they comfort you when all is lost it seems.
Fathers teach you to dribble a basketball and shoot a free throw
And they lead you as you grow.
Fathers teach you how to drive a car
And they try to teach you how to putt for par.
Fathers wipe the tears of your broken heart
And they hold your hand when you don't know how to start.
Fathers carry you on their shoulders when you're too small to see
And they watch as you giggle when they bounce you on their knee.
Fathers extend their feet to you when they teach you how to dance
And they always give you a second chance.
Fathers wait in the wings while you start your own life
And they pray for a husband to make you a wife.
Fathers walk you down the aisle on your wedding day
But fathers never really give their little girls away.
